Dana Shoffstall Has Been a Certified Dog Groomer Since 2001
Dana Shoffstall, certified dog and cat groomer since 2001
Dana Shoffstall started pet sitting neighborhood pets at the age of 12, which fostered a life-long love of animals. As a teenager, she volunteered at Cliffdale Farm in Ossining, New York, gentling exmoor ponies for children visiting on school trips. In the years that followed, Dana was looking into a veterinary program being offered through the military when her family suggested that she enroll in a grooming school. This proved to be a good fit, and the rest is history.
Since that time, Dana has also rescued countless animals over the years, both domestic and wild. She’s placed many animals in new homes, working tirelessly to ensure their health and safety. Dana is also currently involved in a local TNR program with Bordentown City Cats. She is extremely devoted to helping prevent litters of unwanted kittens, helping to trim down the feral cat population. She would do anything for an animal in need, and works hard to build trust with both members of the animal welfare community and her clients.
Dana also believes in continuing her education. Even after over 20 years in the industry, she likes to remain up to date on current trends and techniques, often networking with other pet care professionals at grooming trade shows.
Benefits of Mobile Grooming
Mobile grooming provides a calm, peaceful environment where your pet receives individual attention without all the distractions or interruptions of a regular grooming salon. Pets and their owners benefit from consistency and quality in the products and services we provide. Your pet spends less time with a mobile groomer than they do with a regular salon, where pets are usually on a large rotation. They also benefit from a cage-free environment, which can help with their stress levels. This results in less anxiety for the pet and their owner, along with the convenience of curbside service.
