Services

We provide the following services for dogs throughout Burlington County, NJ and may service other areas by request. We come to your location and perform all services in our mobile pet grooming vehicle. Grooming for cats is only accepted under very special circumstances and clients must be referred.

De-Shed Service

This is a 3-step wash and soak process using quality shampoo and conditioner to remove excess hair from the follicles and clear build-up from the pores. Debris in the skin can lead to unwanted issues and excess shedding. This process also includes the use of a gentle ear cleanser, nail trimming, and the application of a coat repair spray. Your pet will leave silky, smooth, and feeling renewed.

Medicated Shampoo Soaks

These are done for 10-15 mins (or as directed) using quality shampoo. We do not provide prescription strength shampoos, but we will be happy to use any shampoo the owner provides from the vet, if any.

Paw Pad Cream Application

Are your pets paws rough or cracking? Do you want to give them the comfort of a protective cream to help deal with impactful surface walking that can be tough on the paws? If so, then this could provide your pet with some relief. Hot pavement, tough surfaces, and ice can add to wear and tear on your pet’s paws. We provide a paw cream massage that will help aid in maintaining paw pad health.

Pawdicures

We provide kind and caring services to help your pet feel safe while being groomed. We offer nail grinding in addition to basic nail trimming. You can also make your pet stand out with a variety of nail polish colors that are sure to brighten your day and everyone you pass on walks. As with all our other services, we only use safe, pet-friendly products specially formulated for grooming.

Dental Care

Dental disease is a problem not only for humans, but also our pets. Dental disease can not only cause offensive breath, but it may also affect normal daily chewing, which can impair nutrient absorption and ultimately affect the body as a whole. We offer a toothbrushing and breath foam service that reaches the molars, which will go a long way in preserving your pet’s dental health.

Creative Grooming

Feeling edgy? We can transform the look of your pet with almost any sort of custom design. Whether it’s a bright Mohawk, pink ears, blue tail, or some other fashion statement, we will work with our clients to make their vision come to life. Your pet will be a Rock Star in living color! We use non-toxic, semi-permanent colors that wash out in 2-5 weeks (pink and purple can last 1-2 months depending on how often you bathe your pet).

Nail Capping

Are you sensitive to scratches? Does it sound like your pet is tap dancing on your floors? Does your pet scratch your furniture? If so, nail capping might be just what you need. Gel nail caps come in a variety of bright colors and sizes for anything from small kitties to large dogs, and last 4-6 weeks before they naturally fall off. Caps are fitted and secured over each nail after trimming or filing. Benefits of nail caps include protecting your furniture, floors, and your arms and legs from sharp nail scratches. Also, senior pets can sometimes have a harder time gaining traction on surfaces, and nail caps help them maintain their footing so they have confidence when walking. For pets with allergies who often scratch in excess, nail caps help prevent them from further damaging their skin and coats.

Cat Grooming

Pamper your purring pals with one of our cat grooming packages:

• Waterless bath treatment to remove excess debris and dander. Nail trimming and ear cleaning is included in this package ($80).
• Full bath treatment with hypoallergenic cat shampoo, ear cleaning and nail trim (starts at $100 for short haired cats).
• Lion cuts round off the face with a clean shave of the body and puff at the end of the tail (starting at $150).
• Matt removal, belly and private clean-ups are available upon request (inquire for pricing).

These services are priced according to the length of the coat, and the condition and temperament of the pet. All cats must be vaccinated for rabies.

Super Silky Moisture Pack

This process involves high-end moisture enriching shampoo and conditioning soaks, a gentle ear cleanser, nail trimming & filing, and the application of a coat repair spray. Your pet will stand out and feel refreshed with sculpted nails and a healthy coat.

Full Service Cuts

We are happy to provide breed standard cuts or a clip to the owner’s specifications. This includes shampoo, gentle ear cleansing (ear hair removal is done at the request of the vet and approved by the owner only), and a nail trimming.

Hair Cutting

Small dogs start at $100. Prices increase with the size of the dog, their condition, and the style of the cut.

De-Shedding

De-shedding, or the removal of the undercoat to reduce shedding, etc., starts at $90, and will depend on the size and thickness of the coat.

Pricing

The cost of our services for your pet depends on a number of factors, including: breed, size, coat condition, physical abilty and temperament of the pet. Our prices are estimates and may change due to these variables when we arrive to service your pet. We ask that you inform us of any medical or temperament issues before booking so we can allot for the time needed to perform all the services you have requested. 

Requirements

New clients must complete our online Client Form and provide proof of vaccinations. All pets are required to have proof of rabies and distemper vaccines. All documents can be e-mailed to Double Edge Dog.

Appointments

To schedule an apppointment, please complete our Appointment Request form. You will provide us up to 3 preferred time slots and we will confirm your appointment via email.
